hahatrip is an independent travel guide to South Korea, written for visitors from abroad. We focus on the practical questions people actually have before a trip — how to get there, when to go, what is worth your time, and what to skip — region by region, from Seoul’s palaces to Jeju’s volcanic coast.
Who writes hahatrip
Our guides are produced by the hahatrip editorial team, based in Korea. We read Korean-language sources that rarely reach English-speaking travelers — official tourism data, local news, and first-hand reviews written by Korean travelers — and turn them into clear English guides.
How we make our guides
- Official data first. Opening hours, fees, addresses and transport come from the Korea Tourism Organization and each venue’s official channels.
- Real traveler experience. Tips on queues, timing and common mistakes are drawn from published reviews by people who have been there. We say so when a tip comes from reviews rather than from our own visit.
- AI-assisted, fact-checked. We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every guide is checked against official sources before it is published, and we update pages when information changes.
- Dates matter. Hours and prices in Korea change by season. Each guide shows when it was last updated — please confirm with the official source before you go.

How we make money
Some pages contain affiliate links to booking sites such as Agoda, Trip.com and Klook. If you book through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always labeled, and they never decide what we recommend.
